Christian Education

Sunday School for children and adults takes place each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the Educational Building. We offer classes for all age groups and for men and women separately and together.

On the first Sunday of each month, adult classes gather in the Chapel for a joint Sunday school lesson. Children’s classes gather in the downstairs Family Room. Following classes, everyone gathers in the Fellowship Hall for a Sunday School Social of refreshments and fellowship.

Grapplers Sunday School Class

New class for fifth and sixth graders located on the third floor of the education building.

Tweens will study Bible passages that will help them “grapple” with questions and concerns they may have at this age.  Can chat with other tweens online and play games that will introduce the weekly lesson.

“We Need Your Help” Bulletin Board

Check the bulletin board outside the church office to see what is going on, what items we need to have donated for projects, dinners, events, etc. Tickets will be placed on board telling what is needed & when.  Pull ticket and sign sheet on table if you want to donate.  Please check board weekly to get more involved in the life of our church.

Children’s Clubs

Kids’ Club will be conducting a bug study and seeking God through His creation of bugs and all living things. The Bible tells us to “seek and ye shall find, and knock and it shall be opened unto you.” Children will learn more about who God is by digging into His Word.

The topic for Children’s Church this year will be “Jesus, Who He Is.” Jesus has been called many names such as “The Good Shepherd,” “The Son of God,” “Our Savior,” and others. Children will study Bible passages that explain how these names came into being.

Alice and James Gray will also have their Kids’ Club meetings that deal more with church and community service.

All children in Roads to God are invited to Kids’ Club and Children’s Church. The children leave the sanctuary after the Children’s Moment on designated Sundays. Watch the newsletter, bulletin board, and church website for exact dates each month. We hope to see all of the children for each club meeting.
