United Friendship Club

For its June meeting, more than 20 members of the United Friendship Club braved the searing heat and attended their annual summer picnic at the home of June Grubb.   Sitting under the sprawling branches of an old pecan tree with a gentle breeze keeping us somewhat cool made the time together enjoyable.  Great food and good conversation made for a pleasant afternoon.  Devotions were presented by Lib Sink.

The group will not meet in July.  The August meeting will be the Annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, August 25^th at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  This event is open to the congregation.  You are invited to bring a freezer of your favorite ice cream or a favorite dessert…..and a good time will be had by all.
