Sunday School for children and adults takes place each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the Educational Building. We have a children’s class for grades K – 6. There are three adult classes, Willing Workers, New Way, and Still Speaking. Once a month the children meet for Kids’ Club with Ms. Alice, Children’s Church with Cathy and also once a month the youth and children take part in a Youth Service Project to benefit community agencies or our homebound members.
“JAM” (Jesus and Me) choir, meets with choir director Ellen Peterson, the first Sunday of the month during the school year at 9:45am. Children will learn about musical elements as well as new songs. Any children, grades K-6, are invited to participate.
After the Sunday school lesson on the first Sunday of each month (August – May), everyone gathers in the Fellowship Hall for a Sunday School Social of refreshments and fellowship.
UCC: Who We Are
Starting May 6, all interested adults are invited to meet with the Still Speaking class, led by Rev. Horton, to begin a series of lessons entitled, “UCC: Who We Are.” These are video based lessons on the history of the UCC. There will be 5 classes in the spring session and more to follow in the fall.
Summer Sunday School and Worship
Worship will be at 10:00 starting June 17 and going through July 29. There will be no Sunday School classes on those Sundays. Sunday school will resume on August 5 and the worship service will return to 11:00.
“What’s New” Bulletin Board
Check the bulletin board outside the Fellowship Hall to see what is going on. Sometimes there are requests for help and donations for projects we are sponsoring. Signups for special events are also posted. Please check the board weekly to find opportunities to be involved in the life of our church.
