Deanna Michael gave the treasurer’s report, We gave a memorial for Betty Bates and plan to do the same for Joyce Price. There was also a discussion on a request to help with the meal at the Homeless Shelter. The meal was approved and planned. Myra Thompson had the program. Our group has given her great support in a year filled with many hurdles. She spoke of this and how it helped her endure and look forward to new happiness in her health recovery and first grandchild. She also told us about Paul Stevens who finds pleasure in life despite his ongoing battle with cancer. He has been a great inspiration for Myra and many others. We may ask him to speak in the future.
