Rev. Evan Sieges
The Rev. Evan Sieges, Director of Children and Youth Ministry, is a graduate of Appalachian State University and Wake Forest School of Divinity, Evan currently serves as a Hospice Chaplain in Greensboro, NC with AuthoraCare Collective Hospice and Palliative Care. Prior to working at AuthoraCare, Evan was a chaplain at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and served on the ministerial staff at Knollwood Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC, where he received his ordination.
Evan’s passions include social justice, theology, watching incessant amounts of Wake Forest, Appalachian State, South Carolina, and Carolina Panthers football, along with Charlotte Hornets basketball, as well as spending time with his growing family. Evan and his wife Kyla have been together since high school, and just celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in June. Evan and Kyla’s daughter, Elsie, was born on September 5th, 2020, and is the light of their lives. Evan is eager to connect with children, youth, and families at FRUCC and to partner with them and the staff in cultivating a community that lives out the Gospel on a daily basis.”
