A MESSAGE FROM REV. HORTON:
Dear Beloved Community,

This Sunday we mark Homecoming by celebrating All Saints’ Day, when we remember the saints who have gone before us, particularly the saints of our church who have died in the past year and entered their Eternal Home.  It is a time to remember, to both grieve and give thanks, for the great cloud of witnesses who surround us.

We’ll light candles and speak aloud the seven names of our saints who ended their race in this past year: Doris, Bob, Mary, Marzell, Margot, Janelle, Katherine.

Why did you make First Reformed UCC your church home? We will hear from Jay and Cathy Whitley, and Jeremy and Kerri Lovell as they share with us how they made the decision to call FRUCC home.

We will celebrate Holy Communion after church at Yarborough’s Restaurant.  If you can’t attend the luncheon, we can serve you communion in the sanctuary.

Giving thanks for this church home,
Elizabeth
