Volunteers Needed
First Reformed UCC needs volunteers to help ring the bell for the Salvation Army on December 15th. We will be stationed in front of Lanier’s Ace Hardware. Volunteers will fill a 1-hour time slot. Times begin at 10:00 and end with the 5-6:00 slot. CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR MEMBERS AT HOME
Again this year, we collect Christmas cards to deliver to our members at home. Simply sign cards, place them in envelopes and put them in the bags that will be on the front pew of the sanctuary on November 25, December 2 or December 9. These bags will be delivered along with the holiday fruit baskets. A special thank you goes to Lena Johnson for making the cute holiday bags for the cards!
The Tree of “Angels
The Tree of “Angels”will be placed in the breezeway of the Education Building again this year. Make a donation (your discretion) to place an angel on the tree in honor or memory of someone. Donations will assist with year-end benevolences. Please fill out the form below and place it in the offering plate or contact the church office. Come join us for a catered luncheon following worship. The menu includes: Baked ham, mac & cheese, green beans, buttered corn, baked apples, dessert and drink. The cost for the meal is Adults – $8.50 and Children (11 and under) – $4.25.
