We will hear the parable of the Prodigal Son. Because this is such a familiar story, our challenge is to hear the scripture with fresh ears. Please read this passage prior to Sunday Luke:15:1-32. It’s the 3rd Sunday of Lent, we are in our worship series “Busy: Reconnecting with an Unhurried God.” Scripture is from Luke:13:1-9. Why do we think the grass always greener on the other side? We’ll explore what Jesus says about this in our sermon, “Reconnecting to Reality.”

In the gospel lesson, Jesus is making his way to Jerusalem and nothing will thwart his determination…Not even threats on his life. When you are faced with decisions, what helps keep you determined?
