♥♥♥♥♥TOUCHING DAVIDSON COUNTY WITH LOVE♥♥♥♥♥ Volunteers are needed for Touching Davidson County with Love which is Saturday, March 24, 2018. This event helps many elderly folks in the community who are in need, as well as children and youth. Projects involve various skills levels for almost everyone to be able to help out in some way. You can volunteer as a project manager or as a general worker. Mark Smith has placed a sign-up sheet in the Narthex where volunteers can sign up for three different categories of projects…
SOFT PROJECTS: such as making blankets, etc.
MEDIUM DUTY PROJECTS: such as yard work and landscaping, etc.
HARD PROJECTS: such as wheelchair ramp repair and light carpentry, etc.
Mark like to thank all of our church members and our Girl Scout troop who participated in the Touching Davidson County With Love project on March 24th. Members repaired floors and porches, performed yard work, planted a garden, picked up trash, cooked and delivered meals, made baby blankets/bonnets, visited at assisted living centers, cleaned out cabins at Kamp Kiwanis and spread love with many of our neighbors in need.
You may contact Mark by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by phone (336-337-9666) if you need more information or have questions.
